Chiapas Summer Camps -Mountains of Mexico

Located in the mountains of southern Mexico’s most beautiful state, Chiapas. This, family year round and kids in the summer, camp in in the heart of ancient Maya territory and is loaded with ruins as well as lakes streams and rivers. The low lands are the home to crocodiles, parrots and monkeys. The camp is above the maximum elevation for crocodiles though so don’t worry. The camp is booked through the summer of 2008 but there are a few family weeks left in the fall. We have a volunteer program that for one month of work, which includes room and board, you get a week of family camp or two weeks of kids camp. Kids camp cut off age is 19. Our 175 acre camp site goes from the river and the banana trees up through the palms and into the pines. River rafting, swimming, exploring, horse back riding and endless activities for kids and adults.
